Scuba Diving – Top Model style

Wow, this week our challenge was so exhilarating. After I did it the first time — after I got over the fear — I wanted to do it again. When Nicole won the challenge, she picked Sundai because one day a while back Nicole desperately needed her hair done so Sundai helped her and Nicole said, "Sundai if I ever win a challenge and have to pick someone I’ll pick you," so she did!
I just thought that was so sweet. I’m kind-a disappointed that my picture wasn’t called sooner in judges' panel. I really liked my picture, especially my feet. Lol. I think they look awesome. Lol. And I think my scarf and hair look like they were perfectly placed. I’m proud of this picture, especially since my worst fear is to suffocate. We really were under the water 25 to 75 feet. I could have touched the coral. I was surprised the light could penetrate that deep. Using the regulator and scuba gear when you go under that deep, it’s hard to open your lungs enough to get air in. The whole experience was insane. I was talking to someone and they said that the whole thing was pretty extreme, that nobody really just plunges under the water 25 feet for the first time and are told, “OK, you’re on your own.” That was really extreme! I see myself swimming and it’s so funny, I look like a hopped up frog out of control. Hahahaha.
And my birthday was so amazing! I met Marissa Miller, the girls threw me an awesome birthday in Hawaii and I didn’t get eliminated! Hahaha. All the girls got so into celebrating my birthday, it was the most fun night we ever had in the competition.

I was so scared when I saw u got sunburn n then having picture taken underwater..but i am proud of u coz despite ur fear, u still can pull it through, bravo 
oh my gosh, your dad leaves you comments on here? that is so sweet. i have my dad on my facebook and he sometimes leaves me comments like that too haha…
i tried scuba-diving once in australia in the great barriere reef…i didnt last 30 seconds. i was having a panic attack and thought i couldn’t breathe. i didn’t try again because i was too scared to i really admire that you did! that was a really cool photo shoot!
just dropping by to say i love you. ill see you tonight. not sure how i will handle watching ANTM WITH YOU there..lol..i tend to get a bit excited OUT LOUD..lol..but of course it probaly wont bother you since you are used to me doing that anyway..lol..love you lots laura!

I have a fear of going under water, so I could relate to your fear. Good for you for diving right in, both times.
It takes a lot of courage to face things head on like that. I was a little shocked they just threw y’all in the water like that. Did they give you any training on how to use the regulators?

Hi Laura … so glad you made it this week. I was getting worried but I couldn’t see why you would be going home. Want you to win … nice to see your Dad leaving a message about “his amazing daughter”. One lucky Dad. I’m glad the girls remembered your birthday … you’ll never forget celebrating that birthday, I guess 20. It was something to see you volunteer to go first into the water and then the jump. A little daredevil with a smile! Hoping you pull this off and win. Good Luck …

I just wanted to say that I think you are so brave for doing that cliff dive. That’s my biggest fear, too, but I don’t think I could pull it off and get past my anxiety like you did. Your pictures have been gorgeous and I hope you go all the way in the competition. ^_^ Best of luck to you!

I am so happy to see that you are still in the competition and I hope you make it to top 2. Actually, this is one of the best top 4 of all antm history. You four were my favorite of this cycle! No joke! ahahah.
By the way, I read aeverything you wrote on this blog and Im surprised you know stuff about models and have your favorite and that kind of stuff. Usually girls on antm dont know so many things about the real industry…
such a stranger in that world of size 0 with perfect face, Laura has an uncommun face that photographs perfectly.
