NY Fashion Week
February 22nd, 2010
The past week has been crazy busy for me! It was my first fashion week, and I was so excited. Not only did I get a new look for my blog, I’ve also had so many jobs and events!
I went to a casting call for Deux fm. She booked me and Jenn for the show!!!
I went to a Rebecca Minkoff presentation and her after party. Her collection was so beautiful! I would definitely wear it all.
I went to Kim Kardashian’s fashion show for bebe and got some awesome swag! (I actually grabbed 3, one for me and one for each of my sisters, but don’t worry - they were extras.)
I also went to the Pete Wentz show… cool! Then I went to a Perry Ellis show. Let me just say the male models where as hot as they could be!
I also went to the QVC runway show and after party. It was funny because a few days later I was watching it on TV.
My favorite was the Blond’s after party although I missed the runway show because I was at another show. The party was wild! It had so many characters; people were dressed SO wild! It looked liked I had climbed into a disco ball. Ha ha ha. I also met Adam Lambert there!
I loved fashion week! I had a blast!

Omg laura im so gladd you have reached so much success in such little time! you’re battle with dyslexia is such an inspiring story that it really got me teary and all.. It was such a shame you didnt win because tyra was rite when she said that you’ve got a smile that can lit of a whole room and your beauty is one that is so rare! I hope you go on doing stuff for your cause and never forget your root eventhough modelling is a tough industry and some people lose their way in it!
p.s im just curious why do you always mention jenn? is she living in nyc too?
You were my favorite during your cycle. I’m also from Kentucky and I’ve wanted to be on top model for so long. You helped me realize a country girl can make it. I hope I can make my dream come true like you. I’m so happy for you and wish you the best of luck with the rest of your career!

I’m so happy you’re continuing to model after ANTM. I liked Nicole, too, but I was sad when you didn’t win.
